Rabbi Yakir Schechter received his semicha from Yeshiva University and a Master’s from Yeshiva University’s Azrieli School of Jewish Education. He also learned at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh, Mir Yerushalayim, the Aish HaTorah Kollel Elyon, and the Philadelphia Community Kollel. Rabbi SChechter is a Rebbe at The Mesivta. At KTA, he teaches Shmuel Alef in grade 11. He is also the 12th grade Halacha Rebbe and teaches a senior Va’ad on Contemporary Topics.
